Harrison Lee Hopper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harrison Lee Hopper of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dewey Hopper and Irene King Hopper; his wife Elise Jefferies Hopper; and his siblings, James Ray Hopper and Margaret Ann Hopper Geter.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Hartgrove, John Potlow (April) and Venson Lee Hopper (Elemika); his siblings, Linda Roseboro (Robert), John Hopper (Lizzy) and Willie Hopper; and his grandchildren, Denisha Crotts, Veronica Hopper and Venson Hopper Jr.. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ellis Chapel Baptist Church (114 Ellis Chapel Rd, Grover, NC 28073). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ellis Chapel Baptist Church.
