He was predeceased by: his parents, Gorman Lail and Evelyn Lail; and his brother Terry Lail. He is survived by: his brother Tim Lail (Valerie) of Ellenboro; his nieces, Brandy Lovelace (Andy), Linzy Greene (Dustin) and Katrina Lail; his great-nephews, Tripp, Tyler and Judah; and his great-niece Sydney.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home (1401 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
