He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Moss and Ruby May Laws Moss; and his sisters, Sheila Elaine Moss, Paula Jean Moss and Phyllis Annette Moss.
He is survived by: his son Gary Moss II of Shelbyville, TN; and his brother Phillip Moss of Kings Mountain, NC.
