With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eric Pope of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Smith Fisher; and his brother Robert Reid Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Pope; his children, Robert Pope, Josh Sanders and Janie Pope; his siblings, Rita Evans (Robert), Mary Collier, Wayne Collier (Reeva) and Gerald Pope; and his grandchildren, Jordan Sanders, Bentley Pope and Harmony Pope.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain (303 Phifer Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
