She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lewis and Daisy Lewis Smith; her stepfather Samuel Smith; her sons, Ernest McNeal and Kenneth Jarrett; her grandchildren, Bryan McNeal, Rashard McGill, Stacey Wilson and Regina Pettis; her daughters-in-law, Mavis McNeal and Mildred McNeal; and her siblings, Janie Mae Lewis, Shirley Smith, Robert Lewis, Albert Lewis, George Lewis, Clarence Lewis and Theodore Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Willie James, Dennis (Maxine), Jeanette (Floyd), Thomas, Kenny, Steven, Debra (Chris) and Annette; her daughter-in-law Julia Huskey Jarrett; her sister Betty Smith Floyd; and her sister-in-law LaVerne Byers Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
