It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ed Gardner of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Parley Lee Gardner; and his wife Betty Ann Burnette Gardner. He is survived by: his children, Tim Gardner (Jessica) and Beth Paul (Mark); his siblings, Cline Gardner (Betty), Charles Gardner (Faye), Mildred Anderson and Patty Wood (Mackey); his grandsons, Austin Gardner, Colby Gardner, Josh Paul (Abby), Andy Paul (Rachel) and Brian Paul Jason Paul (Emily); his great grandchildren, Natalie Paul, Elijah Paul, Leah Paul, Jaxon Paul and Wyatt Paul; his extended family, Doris Robbs, Eric, Leanne Sanders, Matthew and Jennifer Hunter; and his grandchildren, Heath Hunter, Gracie Hunter, Logan Sanders and Scott Sanders.
