She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Alexander and Sarah Ann Craig Bradley; her husband Clarence "Ray" Brooks; her brother Dwight Bradley; and her granddaughter Kasey Lynn Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Parrish of Rock Hill and Judy Holcomb of Shelby; and her sister Delores Proctor (Ralph) of Gastonia. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
