He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Dean Allen and Carver Spurgeon Bridges; his siblings, Spurgeon Bridges, Lawrence Bridges, Carl Bridges, Lee Bridges and Dorothy Wilkerson; his son Patrick Bridges; his wife Leila Church; and his children, Timothy Bridges (Melinda), Jessica Laney (Scott) and Tamra Church.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jolena Rabon and Dean Bridges (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Justin Bridges and Peyton Laney.
