He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Evans and Mary Etta Sellers Costner. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Wall Costner; his sister Melba Ware; his daughters, Denise Huckabee of Kings Mountain and Lori Robinson (Howard) of Bessemer City; his grandchildren, Buddy Dean Huckabee (Jenny) of Franklin, NC and Brittni JoAnna England (Chad) of Kings Mountain; his great grandchildren, Derek England (Allison), Braxton Huckabee and Adalynn Huckabee; his nieces, Kathy Wright, Amy Pearson and Diane England; and his pets, Jetta and Dixie.
