We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2024, at the age of 76, Danny Joe Hawkins of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Danny shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Danny farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Hawkins and Pauline Burgan Hawkins; his son Phillip Lowery; and his sister Nancy Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Deaton (Charlie) of Grover, NC, Nikki Hawkins of Kings Mountain, NC and Leigh Ann Hawkins of Kings Mountain, NC; his siblings, Jackie Hawkins and Doris Ann Hawkins; and his grandchildren, Riley Hawkins, Stephanie Bryant, Gregory Bryant and Cortney Richards. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren Many loving nieces and great nieces and nephews.
