He is survived by: his wife Gloria Price Summers; his son Dale Summers of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Renee Hughes (Keith) of Kings Mountain, NC, Jessica Adkins of Blacksburg, SC. and Adam Summers of Blacksburg, SC.; and his great grandchildren, Khloe Summers, Kyra Hughes, Dainan Hughes and Payton Adkins.
