He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Boone Sr. and Tuie Bradburn Boone; his son Roger Wayne Boone; his grandson Charles Edward Boone; and his daughter-in-law Marla Davis Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Sue" Ellis Boone; his sons, Steve Boone (Crystal) of Kings Mountain, Mike Boone (Stephanie) of Shelby and Lynn Boone (Karen) of Kings Mountain; and his siblings, Jenny White of High Point, Wilma Davis (Haskell) of Marion and Dan Boone of Morganton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (606 S Dekalb St, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
