We bid farewell to Bonnie Poteat of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 10, 2024 at the age of 72. Bonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Worley and Shirley Randolph; her husband Joel Franklin Poteat; and her brother Jimmy Fox. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Poteat Kendrick (Joe); her grandsons, Benjamin and Elijah Kendrick; and her siblings, Dee Parrish, Barbie Davis and Bobby Penny.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (198 Pleasant Ridge Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
