Bobby Hoppes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Hoppes of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Bobby is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bobby's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father Nelson David Hoppes; and his brother Tim Hoppes. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Champion Hoppes of Shelby; his son Eli Hoppes; his half-brothers, Nelson Hoppes of Shelby and Michael Hoppes; his sister-in-law Lisa Hoppes of Shelby; his niece Brittney Hoppes; and his great-niece Lilley Hoppes.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Landmark Baptist Church (1724 E Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
