With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Ellis of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Betty left this world on November 1, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Weathers and Lucille Allen Weathers; and her brother Don Weathers. She is survived by: her husband David Ellis; her son Chris Ellis (Connie); her siblings, Bobby Weathers, Shelby Robertson, Pat Ellis and Kathy Barclift; and her grandchildren, Lauren Wallen, Rebecca Monsrud and Jessica Richardson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (412 W Sumter St, Shelby, NC 28150).
Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
