It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Burch (Kings Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Jefferson (Mary Jane McCluney Jefferson) and Betty; her daughters, Lorie Ann Burch and Kuzundra Kay Burch Mance; and her siblings, Virginia Jefferson Hill, Hattie Mae Thompson, Melvin Jefferson, Jasper Jefferson and Roosevelt Jefferson, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Burch (Sonjuan) of Gastonia, NC; her grandsons, Tavaris Burch, Gene Mance, Chris Chambers, Chris Burch and Alex Burch; her brother Johnny Jefferson (Wyomia); and her goddaughter Darion McKinney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (339 Shady Grove Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
