She was predeceased by: her mother Essie Mae Sisk Davis; her husband Roger McDaniel; and her siblings, Rev. Ray Davis and Wanda Kee. She is survived by: her father Deanie Davis Jr.; her daughter Wendy McCurry (Chris) of Shelby; her stepdaughter Amy McDaniel of Shelby; her brother Keith Davis (Star) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Summer Barnes (Jordan) of Shelby, Autumn Phillips (Danny) of Mooresboro and Payton Glenn of Shelby; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Davis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home (1401 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152).
