With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Gail Petty of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Harrison Scott; her sister Sharon Bowman; and her nephew Scott. She is survived by: her mother Ruby Sheets Scott of Stanley; her husband Keith Petty; her children, Melissa Petty of Kings Mountain and Brian Petty (Megan Ward) of High Point; her brother Richard Scott (Rose) of Stanley; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lauren, Britt, Gabe and Ella; her nieces, Christy, Amanda, Jennifer and Sabrina; and her friends, Angel and Farrel Lovelace.
A reception will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
