He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hawks Ayers; his children, Kenneth Gray Ayers (Beth) and Rebecca Ann Roman; his siblings, Ronnie Ray Ayers (Verlie Mae) and Patsy Hutchins (Larry); his brother-in-law Bud Cain; and his grandchildren, Ashlynn Elizabeth Hornaday (Cole), Joshua Caleb Ayers, Kaydence Faith Ayers and Chasidy Elizabeth Ayers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
