He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Cox and Beatrice Bennett Cox; his wife Rebecca Scott Cox; his mother-in-law Ruby Scott; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Scott, Kevin Scott and Doug Perkins.
He is survived by: his brothers, Steve Cox (Judy) and Thad Cox (Sonya); his sister-in-law Bonnie Perkins; his nieces and nephews, Will Perkins (Caroline), Elijah Cox (Lauryn), Mindy Marion (Scott), Jennifer Cox, Savannah Eaton Hayley Cox (Brandon), Brettan Cox, Katie Vause (Steve) and Abbey Nunez; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Clover, Anchor, Oak Eaton, Emory, Gibson Perkins, Ethan, Emma Vause, Jacob, Cassidy Marion and Eloise Cox.
