She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Kirby and Viola Welborn Kirby. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Gray Lawson; her children, Jeffrey Lawson (Joelle) and Christa Broyhill (Dwayne); and her grandchildren, Brea L. Pearman (Austin), Olyvia L. Martin (Michael) and Grayson Broyhill.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (536 S Main St, King, NC 27021).
