She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Monroe O'Neal and Maggie Lee Hooker O'Neal; her husband Lee Roy Adams; her daughter Nelda Delaine Gammons; and her siblings, Mae Creasey and Elbert O'Neal.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Utt and Donna Gammons; her stepdaughter Debbie Hauser (Rick); her son Dwight Gammons (Debbie); her stepson Kendall Adams; her grandchildren, Brandon Bunker, Justin Gammons (Jordan), Ashley Hauser and Logan Gammons; and her close friend Bill Cox. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Simmons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (443 Simmons Grove Church Rd, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
