She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Kirkman and Treva Riddle Kirkman; her husband Ronald Wayne Hudson; and her brothers, Mitchell and Phil Kirkman.
She is survived by: her children, Travis Hudson (Chelsea) and Jessica Jessup (Nathaniel); her grandchildren, Salem, Emersyn and Lennyn Jessup; her sisters-in-law, Tammy Nunn and Nora Lange; her cousins, Wanda East and Kathy Chilton; her nieces, Heather Clark, Erin Scott and Greta Knuutilla; and her close friend Mark McCoy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Hudson to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
