He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Tuttle Brinegar. He is survived by: his parents, Mayme Dowell Brinegar and Don Orton Brinegar; his children, Teri Brinegar and Jerry Don "Donnie" Brinegar, Jr. (Tanya); his grandchildren, Meredith Summey (Scott), Matthew Brinegar, Alyssa Emerson and Alie Brinegar; his sister Vicki Brinegar VanBuren; and his nephews, Craig, Brett, Scott and Derek Jones.
