He was predeceased by: his parent Alford "Olin"; and his half-brothers, Harrison Elmer King, Jr. and Jack Bowers King. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia B. Craver; his parent Elva D. Craver; his daughters, Cheryl Nelson (Todd) and Manya C. Crouse (Allen); his grandchildren, Wesley (Jenny), Dustin Newman (Chelsea), Dilyn, Adison and Kiley Gregory; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Aiden, Fischer Newman and Dottie Wise; and his pet Sadie.
