It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Harold Holden Jr. of King, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Harold Holden, Sr. and Pamelia Pierce Holden; his sister Marie Holden Crater; and his daughter Amy Holden Harper (Jason) of Clemmons. He is survived by: his wife Delphus Chapman Holden of King; his sister JoAnn Holden Brown of Rural Hall; and his sons, Andrew Harold Holden (Tammy) of Clemmons and John Alan Holden (Stephanie) of Clemmons. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
