He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sharpe and Lavenia Reedy Sharpe; and his brothers, Joe Sharpe, Ray Sharpe, Paul Sharpe, Grant Sharpe, Dean Sharpe and Don Sharpe.
He is survived by: his significant other Faye Lucille Vannoy Sharpe; his children, Charles Sharpe (Sherrill) of Pfafftown, Sandra Cheek (Tommy) of Pinnacle, Linda Combs (Benny) of Rural Hall and Pamela Arthur (Ned) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Whitney Sharpe of Pfafftown, Katherine Kiser (Jordan) of King, Sarah Welch (Eric) of King, Emily Combs of Durham and Ben Combs (Christina) of Winston-Salem; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Adelyn Kiser. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
