She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Gordon and Alma Flippen Gordon; her husband Melvin L. Forrest; and her brothers, Colonel Gordon and Donald Gordon.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Forrest (Benita Taylor), Tony Forrest (Kim) and Dale Forrest (Tonya); her grandchildren, Ariel and Chyann; and her sister Betty Orgburn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (5413 North Carolina Hwy 66 S, King, NC 27021). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
