He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Culpepper Turpin. He is survived by: his daughter Fay Beasley (Darrell) of Colington, NC; and his siblings, Betty Howell of Lexington, SC, Charles Turpin of Lorton, VA and James Turpin of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
