He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Edward Railey, Sr. and Hazel Bradshaw Railey; his wife Anne; his sons, Richard Edward Railey, III (Katharine) of Franklin and Benjamin Babb Railey (Tamee) of Wakefield, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Danee Railey, Jackson and Samford Railey; and his siblings, Jo Beall of Portland, Pamela "Mimi" Merritt (Rob) of Bluefield and John Railey (Kathleen) of High Point. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
