She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Arnold Beatty and Rose Beatty of Lumberton, NC; and her siblings, Alan Bass of Fayetteville, NC, Stephen Beatty and Mary Francis Austin of Charlotte, NC..
She is survived by: her daughter Emily Bliss Lyster; her sister Leslie Avery (Glenn Avery); her sister-in-law Linda Beatty; and her nieces and nephews, Amy Austin of Richmond, VA, Rhianna Vadukul of Hong Kong, Ashley Bishop of Elizabeth City, NC, Bobby Austin of Idaho, Christopher, Derek Avery and Charlie Beatty.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jill's name can be made to the Outer Banks Food Pantry.
