He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Bryan Stimmel; his children, Stacey Lynn Devine (Michael William Devine, Sr.), George Richard Stimmel (Alice Stendeback) and Robert Bryan Stimmel (Christopher Michael Schisler); his sisters, Carol Cooper (Stimmel) of Eckhart Mines, Maryland, Carla Malloy (Stimmel) of Eckhart Mines, Maryland and Darla Stimmel of Eckhart Mines, Maryland; his grandchildren, Michael William Devine Jr., Lucas Benjamin Devine, Delaney Elizabeth Devine and Abigail Catherine Devine; and his stepgrandchildren, Hanna Stendeback, Victoria Stendeback and Samuel Hunter Stendeback.
George William Stimmel of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina (formerly of Cumberland, Maryland) died peacefully after a long difficult struggle with Alzheimer's disease and cancer.
