With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garrett Morgan Rice (Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina), who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Verda J. Rice and Kelly T. Rice. He is survived by: his wife Paula A. Rice; his brother Thomas Rice (Janet Coldsmith); his stepchildren, Ann-Morgan Rice, Aven Rice and Amanda Ezzell (Darrell); his grandchildren, Tess Pearce (Stewart), Damon, Kelly, Genevieve, Sophia, Josephine and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Garrett, Artemis and Thomas; his niece Molly Rice (Joshua Freeman); his nephew Joe Rice (Kelly); and his toy fox terriers, Verda and Wilder.

When I was 17 Gary’s parents took me in there home , at Gary request. I am sorry to here of Gary’s passing. He’s at home in the presence of our Lord!
