Gail E. Sonnesso Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gail E. Sonnesso (Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 77, on February 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gail touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Angelo; her son Greg Hayen; and her siblings, Glen Grondahl, Lynn Dee Palma and Lora Grondahl.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Flight Lions Club (2706 N Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GEM Adult Day Services, Inc. or the Susan K. Preston Scholarship Fund.
