He is survived by: his wife Christenia Lynn Hartman Sams; his sister Peggy Davis; his nieces and nephews, Susie Crawford (Steve), Vickie Johnson (James), Tommy Davis, Donald Key (Donna) and Gary Key; his cousin Jim Sams (Carol); and his pets, Sammy and Lizzie.
