He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Kirsten Sachau; his parents, Claude William Sachau and Martha Elizabeth Hogg Sachau; and his brother Donald C. Sachau. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Von Mosch of Archdale, NC, Gary Sachau (William "Bill" Robertson, Jr.) of West Yarmouth, MA and Bill Sachau, Jr. (Thomas "Tom" Washington) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Carl (Rebecca), Josh (Shawn), Brad and Heather (Jen Eberhard); his great grandchildren, Kendra, Carl, Jr. and Jacqi; and his great great grandchild Noah. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
