It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willard Carter in Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard William Carter and Viola Rice Carter; his wife Zona Carter; and his siblings, William Orville Carter, Sr. and Rena Knight.

He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Holland, Shirley Carter, Mary Ellen Lawson, Alice Carter (Johnny), Charles (Pat) and Ricky Carter (Claudia); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Carter and Wilma Tootie Pfaff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
