He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Childress and Doris Childress (Shepherd); and his wives, Sandra Stowe Childress (Stowe) and Judy Childress (Holcomb). He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Emerson (JD Stallings); his sister Sandy Childress; and his pet Lucy.
