It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Jones (Kernersville, North Carolina), born in Walkertown, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odella Jones and Dallas Jones; his son Joseph Wayne Jones; and his siblings, Reba Pulliam and R. B. Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby Smith Jones of Kernersville; and his grandchildren, Cathy Jones of Charlotte, Stephen Jones, Sarah of Chapel Hill, Hillary Ash, John of Charlotte and Natalie Jones of Washington, D. C.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
