He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Hackett and Lillian Hackett; and his siblings, Perry Hackett, Gerald Hackett and Betty Carter.
He is survived by: his son Eddie Hackett (Teresa); his significant other Lucy Crews; his grandchildren, Kimberly Boger (Jay), Coty Hackett (Allison), Timothy Hackett (DeAnna) and Grayson Hackett; and his brothers, Don Hackett and Norris Hackett. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
