He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Andrew and Helen Mabe Jessup; and his sister Alice Faye. He is survived by: his wife Romona Jessup; and his sisters, Carolyn Barham, Evelyn "Eggy" Hanlin and Debra Callaway.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund at 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852 or to First Christian Church at 1130 N Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284.
