We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2020, at the age of 74, Tommy Edmisten Sr. of Kernersville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Voyne and Angeline Storie Edmisten; and his brother Abram Voyne "A. V.". He is survived by: his children, Julianne Angela Edmisten of Kernersville, Thomas Perry "Tom" Edmisten, Jr. (Brooke) of Stokesdale, NC and Daniel McNamara (Holly) of Thornton, PA.; his grandchildren, Molly, Andrew Edmisten, Lily, Piper, Sophia and Charles McNamara; his sisters, Mary Baumgardner of Eastlake, Betty Shoemake of Boone, NC, Rebecca Younce of Boone, NC, Joyce Proffitt (Joe) of Boone, NC and Anne Barba (Greg) of Roanoke, VA.; his brothers-in-law, Johnny Baumgardner and Jerry Younce; and his niece Deborah "Debby" Baumgardner Horne. He is also survived by Nineteen nieces and nephews, twenty-six great nieces and nephews and fourteen great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and lots of friends.
Due to COVID-19 requirements, the wearing of masks and social distancing should be practiced.
