He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Roscoe and Evelyn "Ebby" Dodd Smith. He is survived by: his wife Janet Vance Smith; his children, Tami Bull Robertson (Michael), Jenny Smith, Wendy Bull Oakley, Jeremiah Smith (Saffron) and Joshua Smith (Trisha); and his siblings, Sandi Smith, Sibbie Brown (Bill), Cindy Largen (John) and Richard Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
