He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Griffin and Alma Watson Griffin; and his wife Wanda Hodges Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Billy Griffin (Harmony Daniels Griffin) of Fort Myers and Tracie Griffin Bailey (Jim Bailey) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Dillon, Brice, Cooper (Billy), Owen and Eli (Tracie); and his sister Martha Meadows of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
