He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Kerschensteiner and Susan Kerschensteiner (Kapral); and his brother-in-law Sam Papageorge. He is survived by: his son-in-law Jeremy; his wife Jean; his daughters, Lynne Privette (Casey) of Durham and Jennifer Motsinger (Jeremy) of Oak Ridge; his grandchildren, Kaylin Privette, Ethan Privette, Claire Motsinger and Savannah Motsinger; and his siblings, Dr. Daniel Kerschensteiner, Gary Kerschensteiner (Gale), Janice Albertsen (Peter), Sharon Ahlgren (Robert) and Lisa Papageorge. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
