She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. Rogers and Genevieve Rogers; her husband Hugh C. Townsend; and her daughter-in-law Susan Townsend. She is survived by: her children, Terry (Patrick McDaid) of Greensboro and Tom Townsend of Halifax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Emily Shagena, Samuel, Robert Townsend and Cianne Martin. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
