She was predeceased by: her husband William T. "Bill" Staples; her son William Jeffrey Staples; and her sisters, Ellen Zigler, Cornelia Blackley and Nancy Blackley.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa S. Braswell (Doug); her grandchildren, Eric Staples, Will Mabe (Traci), Ashley Owen, Lyndsey Lipford and Brooke Hancock (Heath); her great grandchildren, Andrew Staples, Abbi Staples, Chase Mabe (Courtney Kurutz), Kirsten Mabe, Meri Staples, Luke Lipford, Paityn Hancock, Edith Owen, Noah Lipford, Wayne Owen and Ben Hancock; and her great great grandchildren, Amira Staples and Sophia Williamson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
