He is survived by: his son Tim Hodges; his children-in-law, Kim Hodges of Ft. Myers, FL and David Reynolds of Mount Airy; his grandchildren, Hannah (Justin Grill) of Mount Airy, Jacob Hodges, Logan Hodges of Ft. Myers, FL and Jordan Hodges of New York City, NY; his great grandchild Kenan Grill of Mount Airy; his friend Tina Edwards of Mount Airy; and his siblings, Dennis Hodges (Elaine) of Hiddenite, Alita Gunter (Glenn) of Titusville, FL, Linda Lowe (Gary) of Lowgap and Mark Hodges (Mary) of Lowgap.
The family will be accepting flowers in remembrance and celebration of Sam's life, as well as donations to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
