She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Lawrence and Effie Triplett Lawrence; and her spouse C. W. "Bill" Dillon, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Redman (David), C. W. Dillon, Jr. (Donna) and Joey Dillon; her grandchildren, Lauren Johnson (Samuel), Samantha Price (Arron), Colby Dillon and Chase Dillon; and her great grandchildren, Oliver Price and Emily Price. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, North Carolina.
