He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest James and Beulah VanHoy James; his brother Richard P. James; and his great grandchild Caleb Lee James. He is survived by: his wife Aileen James; his sons, Timothy L. James (Lucretia) of Kernersville, Steven Ray James (Karen) of Walnut Cove and Mark James of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Cory, Steven, Chad, Matthew and Alicia; and his siblings, Imogene James and Edward James. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kerwin Baptist Church (4520 Old Hollow Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
